It was so cold last night that I had to turn on the wood stove to heat up the house. I was having a hard time lighting the wood stove because the winds were so intense. I heard we had gusts up to 50 mph last night, making for a real cold night. I warmed up some hot apple cider and baked apples with cinnamon, brown sugar and allspice. I had to go out in my?Used Honda, as I forgot the whipping cream and butter to complete my apple concoction that I make when it gets real cold outside. My kids love my special baked apples.
